Dog Tricks Training

If you want to teach your dog tricks you will need to train it a lot and be patient. Because dogs are so smart, they can be taught lots of different tricks if you motivate them properly. There is no need to use aggression or yelling when training a dog, you just have to use some food and kind words for motivation.

One of the easiest tricks to teach a dog is to sit when you ask. This can be taught in just a few days, especially if you train it during meal times. You will just have to say the word "sit" while pressing on the dog's behind until it sits down. The, you praise the dog and feed it. Remember to always say the word "sit" first.

After teaching the dog to sit you can begin teaching other tricks like begging or sitting up. These are also pretty easy. To train a dog to beg, just hold food over its head and say "beg" or "sit up". The dog will naturally reach for the food and sit up.

When it is in this position give the dog its reward. After repeating this a couple of times the dog will start doing the trick when you say the commands.

When teaching tricks it is important to only focus on one trick at a time and repeat it over and over until the dog learns it. Then you can begin teaching another one. Teaching too many tricks at once will confuse the animal and it will not learn.
